As your next School Board Member, I will do my best to back up any decisions and actions with facts and data. Also, my actions will be transparent and accountable to the public. I also believe that school board members must work with the community, school staff, and students!
About Me
A Little About Me
I graduated from Skowhegan. I did not go to college. I grew up in both Maine, and Massachusetts's. I truly have spent most of my years here in Maine. I have been a hard worker all my life. I started my first job with the Skowhegan Rec Department at 15. I worked for Georges Banana Stand when i was 16. Worked through high school at McDonalds. I mostly stayed in the cooking field till i was in my late 20;s. I bounced around. Worked as a cashier, carpenter, account manager, food safety manager, satellite technician, and truck driver. Been in and out of the trucking field for the last 20 years. I enjoy it. I also loved music so much I became a DJ and I still do it occasionally. Music is such a big part of me. I remember back when i was in Catholic school. I was so lucky to have sang with Mitch Miller at Christmas time at City Hall in New Bedford, Mass. I was in chorus. I love to sing. I am no strange to Karaoke. I would love to serve my community and run for school board. I feel education is slipping away. We need to get back to the basics. Reading, writing, math and science. History is very important to me. I feel that it is being changed more often to fit an agenda. My opinion. Cursive needs to make a come back. Here in Madison, would love to see the band play again at Football and Basketball games. Help me get in the fight to bring it back.
